Creating equal opportunity for all is a game changer for global companies.
The companies that succeed are more likely to outperform their competitors in all key metrics that count:
Yet, achieving a truly inclusive culture is difficult. The change required is disruptive and needs to be driven by meritocracy, not tokenism.
To unlock a company’s full talent pipeline requires a commitment to creating and enabling talent to rise regardless of gender or background.
WeQual provides a proven solution by democratizing development through an inclusive lens, at scale – while also supporting any gender targets you recognise as critical to your success.
We help organizations rethink leadership – boosting retention, engagement and inclusive leadership capability.
Our real-world and online leadership programs provide an innovative world-class approach to driving superior results for all.
It all started with a question: ‘Where are all the women?’
In her 17-year career at the Financial Times, WeQual Founder Katie Litchfield rose to Executive Director of ‘The 125’ an executive forum for global leaders. It was during these corporate leadership events that she noticed a glaring disparity – 95% of attendees were men.
So, where were all the women?
On a mission to redress this imbalance, Katie made the bold move to leave the FT. She founded WeQual in 2018, launching the world-class WeQual Awards shining a spotlight on the exceptional women leaders who sat just below the Executive Committee.
But she wanted to go further.

In 2020, Katie met Mark Bateman, a seasoned executive coach and leadership expert. Their connection was rooted in a shared desire to challenge outdated leadership norms. In 2020, Mark joined as CEO, and WeQual launched WeQual Executives, an enormously successful global development community for women at Board and C-suite level, and those who are just one or two levels below.
With over 35% of the global Fortune 1000 companies represented, and the support of global CEOs, members of WeQual Executives include companies such as IBM, HSBC, Pfizer, Coca-Cola, Hindustan Unilever, Wipro, Cemex, Westpac, Sanofi, Heineken and many more.
Gender targets are a key driver of business success, but focusing only on women suggests it is the women themselves who are broken. The truth of the problem is systemic and needs to be addressed holistically.
