Shakambhari is a seasoned Communications and CSR leader with a career spanning over two decades, evolving alongside the technology landscape in India. She has built communications teams from the ground up and shaped brand stories for global leaders like Applied Materials, Samsung Research, National Instruments and Bosch India. She recently joined Walmart Global Technology in India as Senior Director, Communications.

A storyteller at heart and a trusted advisor on reputation management, she is passionate about driving meaningful engagement at the intersection of business and culture. A firm believer in the power of authentic storytelling to build trust, inspire action, and create lasting impact, she has led communications for milestone landmarks including Applied Materials’ 10th anniversary in India, Samsung’s 25th anniversary, and Bosch’s centenary in India.

Her leadership has earned multiple accolades, including the 2024 WeQual Awards, Asia-Pacific (Brand Category), recognizing her role in building cultures of excellence and guiding organizations through change, including the Covid-19 crisis.

With her diverse experiences, she brings rich perspectives on communications, leadership, and culture, to both industry and academia. Beyond work, she is an avid traveler, passionate photographer, and proud mom to a curious 14-year-old daughter.

Cristina is an experienced facilitator and coach with over 20 years’ experience designing and delivering effective leadership and team development programs across various industries and geographies.

Cristina is passionate about supporting individuals become a better version of themselves and supporting organizations build stronger leaders, teams and culture to deliver outstanding results whilst ensuring a safe, healthy and inclusive work environment.

Prior to becoming an independent consultant, Cristina held various roles at global companies such as Cochlear and Adidas where she led the development and implementation of highly impactful leadership development solutions across the globe.

Outside of work, Cristina loves spending times in the outdoors and staying healthy by playing tennis, walking and swimming. Cristina volunteers at Primary Ethics, an organization focused on teaching Ethics to primary school children.

With a track record for delivering solutions across a broad range of global sectors and industries, Emma brings a wealth of experience and a deep passion for continuing professional development.

Emma is a Fellow and Advisory Board Member of the Learning Performance Institute (LPI), holds certifications from the Institute of Directors (IoD) and Association for Talent Development (ATD), and is a former Education Committee member at the European Confederation of Directors Associations (ecoDa).

Outside of WeQual, Emma has a young family (8-year-old Joshua, 6-year-old Jasmine, and a recent ‘furbaby’ addition, Monty the cockapoo), who keep her equally busy, active and above all grateful.
