Guest Speaker: Kathryn Dolan, Chief People Officer, Mitie 

Kathryn Dolan is an award-winning HR leader with a global track record of driving people strategy and culture across diverse industries. She recently joined Mitie as Chief People Officer, following six years as Chief HR Officer at Bureau Veritas, where she supported over 82,000 employees worldwide. Kathryn’s career spans the technology, automotive, and professional services sectors. She is a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Personnel & Development, a qualified leadership coach, and a Non-Executive Director. Known for her passion for youth empowerment and community integration, Kathryn brings a deeply human perspective to career decision-making, underpinned by accountability and purpose.

Kathryn Dolan is Mitie’s new Chief People Officer, bringing a wealth of global HR leadership experience to the role. She previously served as Chief HR Officer at Bureau Veritas, a French-listed global professional services company with over 82,000 employees, from 2018 to 2024. Her career spans multiple multinational organisations across sectors including technology, automotive, and professional services. A Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Personnel & Development, Kathryn is also a qualified leadership coach and Non-Executive Director. Beyond her corporate achievements, she is passionate about community integration and youth empowerment, dedicating time to sports development and youth organisations worldwide. Her efforts have earned her numerous awards and nominations, establishing her as a respected role model for women in business and beyond.

Emma Hicks

Emma is an experienced strategic leader, specializing in professional development at C-suite and senior management levels. With a track record for delivering solutions across a broad range of global sectors and industries, Emma brings a wealth of experience and a deep passion for continuing professional development.

Emma is a Fellow and Advisory Board Member of the Learning Performance Institute (LPI), holds certifications from the Institute of Directors (IoD) and Association for Talent Development (ATD), and is a former Education Committee member at the European Confederation of Directors Associations (ecoDa).

Outside of WeQual, Emma has a young family (8-year-old Joshua, 6-year-old Jasmine, and a recent ‘furbaby’ addition, Monty the cockapoo), who keep her equally busy, active and above all grateful.

Ovin Mohan

Director of Leadership Development

Ovin Mohan has coached over 1000 senior leaders representing the world’s largest companies. As a result, he is recognized as a “Brilliant” (CPO – JustEat), “Exceptional” (CTO – Prologis), and “Amazing” (CFO – Holcim) Executive Coach.

He has created award-winning coaching programs for Apple and received five-star feedback from 360-degree Coaching at Christie’s for leaders C-suite -2. He is a guest lecturer on various MSc programs focusing on strategic leadership development. He advises on a Board that informs the training for the leading coaching training company in the US. Ovin has led large-scale leadership development programs for NATO, the NHS, Barclays, and HSBC and has lived and worked in Chicago, NYC, Valencia, and London.

He was previously Head of Leadership Development, managing the largest CMI centre in the UK, delivering and assessing leadership capabilities up to PhD level. He also designed the curriculum for the Institute of Leadership and Management at L7 (MSc equivalent), which received an “Outstanding” award from ILM.

As a former athlete, in both martial arts and football, his approach to leadership development is driven by teaching deliberate practice of tools, providing feedback to refine those skills, and holding the highest standard of competitive accountability. This is further strengthened by his master’s in occupational psychology.
