Marina Lombardi is a global leader in energy innovation and technology development, with a track record of transforming cutting-edge technologies into scalable, high-impact solutions.

As Head of Innovation at Enel Green Power, Marina oversees a global team responsible for developing, validating, and accelerating the adoption of innovations that enhance efficiency, profitability, resilience, and safety, while also creating new revenue opportunities for generation assets.

Previously, at Enel Grids, she spearheaded pioneering work in grid automation, flexibility, digital twin, robotics, and AI to enable safer, more efficient operations. She also founded innovation labs, co-developed initiatives with startups and ecosystem partners, and launched new ventures, including Gridspertise.

Her leadership extends beyond Enel: at the World Economic Forum, Marina led the Grid Edge Transformation initiative, driving high-level public-private collaborations on the future of energy systems. She also contributes her expertise as a member of advisory boards, including Valore D and the Bologna Business School Alumni Association.

In 2024, Marina was named a WeQual Awards Finalist in the EMEA Transformation category, recognizing her impact in shaping the future of energy through innovation and inclusive leadership.

Emma Hicks

Emma is an experienced strategic leader, specializing in professional development at C-suite and senior management levels. With a track record for delivering solutions across a broad range of global sectors and industries, Emma brings a wealth of experience and a deep passion for continuing professional development.

Emma is a Fellow and Advisory Board Member of the Learning Performance Institute (LPI), holds certifications from the Institute of Directors (IoD) and Association for Talent Development (ATD), and is a former Education Committee member at the European Confederation of Directors Associations (ecoDa).

Outside of WeQual, Emma has a young family (8-year-old Joshua, 6-year-old Jasmine, and a recent ‘furbaby’ addition, Monty the cockapoo), who keep her equally busy, active and above all grateful.

Ovin Mohan

Director of Leadership Development

Ovin Mohan has coached over 1000 senior leaders representing the world’s largest companies. As a result, he is recognized as a “Brilliant” (CPO – JustEat), “Exceptional” (CTO – Prologis), and “Amazing” (CFO – Holcim) Executive Coach.

He has created award-winning coaching programs for Apple and received five-star feedback from 360-degree Coaching at Christie’s for leaders C-suite -2. He is a guest lecturer on various MSc programs focusing on strategic leadership development. He advises on a Board that informs the training for the leading coaching training company in the US. Ovin has led large-scale leadership development programs for NATO, the NHS, Barclays, and HSBC and has lived and worked in Chicago, NYC, Valencia, and London.

He was previously Head of Leadership Development, managing the largest CMI centre in the UK, delivering and assessing leadership capabilities up to PhD level. He also designed the curriculum for the Institute of Leadership and Management at L7 (MSc equivalent), which received an “Outstanding” award from ILM.

As a former athlete, in both martial arts and football, his approach to leadership development is driven by teaching deliberate practice of tools, providing feedback to refine those skills, and holding the highest standard of competitive accountability. This is further strengthened by his master’s in occupational psychology.
