Jean Harvey Johnson

SVP, AI Enablement

Jean Harvey Johnson is a collaborative leader with 20 years of experience in global eCommerce, payments, and product management. She oversees the implementation of artificial intelligence across the Merchant Solutions servicing organization and is also a member of Fiserv’s Senior Leadership Advisory Committee. 

Her previous roles include Chief Operating Officer of the Global Client Organization, a $10B enterprise sales team supporting 1,300 Associates across sales and relationship management. She was responsible for Sales Operations (data governance, reporting, and insights), Sales Tech (tech utilization and roadmap), Sales Training, and special programs like the Sales Academy early career program. Her tenure yielded upgrades in technology and processes for greater efficiency and business unit alignment.

In 2020, Jean led the merchant-acquiring joint venture with PNC Bank, providing fintech solutions and processing transactions for business clients. She also led the technical integration of PNC’s BBVA acquisition into the joint venture. During her early tenure with Fiserv, Jean led the company’s mature eCommerce processing platform to consistently high double-digit growth, launched award-winning alternative payments and digital wallet products, and established partnerships with global FAANG companies and their payment apps, including Alipay and WeChat Pay.

Jean started her career in investment banking with Morgan Stanley. After business school, she transitioned to B2C operating roles in product management for Vanguard consumer internet companies. Jean understands digital transformation, and her diverse leadership experiences through periods of high change have proven her to be an accomplished leader in payments.

Jean is passionate about supporting women and Black people in the Retail and FinTech industries. She is a member of Black Women on Boards and supports the Catholic Foundation of North Georgia through board service. She lives in Atlanta, GA, with her husband and their young son.

Jean earned her MBA from Stanford Business School and her BA in Economics from Spelman College.

Jean was announced Winner of the Strategy category in the WeQual Awards, the Americas 2023. She is also a lifetime member of WeQual Executives.
