As the APAC Head of Business Sustainability & CTO at Tata Consultancy Services Michele is responsible for championing, shaping, and bringing to life new sustainability initiatives with stakeholders. She facilitates access to the depth and breadth of TCS capabilities, solutions, Research & Innovation, and COIN and partners to deliver measurable economic, social, and environmental outcomes that have industry relevance and value. Michele was earlier responsible for establishing the Regional ASEAN Hub for Global Reporting Initiative (GRI) on secondment and worked across stakeholder groups in the region as an advocate for sustainability, building capability, and engaging leaders in ESG dialogues to enable better decisions, based on information that matters.

Michele is passionate about supporting businesses, scale-ups, youth, social entrepreneurs, and governments to embrace this decade’s most important sustainability challenges and pursue opportunities to deliver purposeful impact.

With over 25 years of experience in mature and emerging markets, she has led multi-stakeholder initiatives across consulting, business transformation, innovation, financial services, sustainability, alternate proteins, and not-for-profit. Michele has successfully built and delivered eight new business models and value propositions often driven through new market entry, M&A, JVs, start-ups, and strategic alliances across APAC, Australia, Saudi Arabia, the UK, and NZ, for better outcomes and collective value.

Michele is a champion of positive change and blends this commitment and energy with the diverse activities she embraces in her day job and outside it. She volunteers, advises, co-chairs, and contributes to sustainability in several businesses, a foundation, accelerators, and academic institutions and speaks regularly at internal and external forums about sustainability, innovation, start-ups, and leadership.

Michele was a Finalist in the Technology category in the WeQual Awards, Asia Pacific 2023. She is also a WeQual Executives member.
