Build Your Own Supportive Board (APAC)

Leadership is not a solo pursuit. As your responsibilities grow, so does the need for a trusted network—a group of peers, mentors, and advisors who offer perspective, accountability, and challenge when it matters most.

#In this interactive session, you’ll explore how to create your own ‘supportive board’: a tailored group of individuals who can help you to navigate complex decisions, broaden your thinking, and support your ongoing leadership development.

Karen Watt will guide you through practical steps to identify the right individuals for your board, define the roles they might play in your leadership journey, and build meaningful relationships that evolve with your career.

In This Session, You’ll Explore:

  • How to identify and engage the right mix of advisors to support your leadership goals
  • A practical framework for building and nurturing relationships that offer long-term value
  • Ways to leverage diverse perspectives to inform strategic decisions and challenge your thinking

This session is designed for leaders who want to grow with intention—through connection, reflection, and shared experience. Whether you’re preparing for the next step in your career, seeking greater board readiness, or aiming to lead more inclusively, this is an opportunity to strengthen the relationships that support your success.
